After producing Deaf Condors' "Sundown Radio" and the upcoming Sacred Bull EP "Wider Heavens,” J Anderssen returns with a solo release for Super Carnival under his Ihlyatt moniker, an experimental electronic glitch album entitled "Flowering Copse.”

Taking influence from both the digital and natural worlds, the album uses field recordings and organically composed drone pieces and chops them up, completely recontextualizing them in a digital space. The cover art itself is also an expansion on this idea; it was generated by an AI drawing from floral painting sources and creating a new original piece.

The album is a meditation on art and organic methods of creation in a world dominated by the pace of new technology, while also placing distinct focus on the atmosphere and texture of the sounds therein for a holistic experience that swallows the listener and envelops them in a world of unreal sounds.
